Born Hartlepool, Durham. Son of the late Robert and Sarah Moody, of Enington Street, Scotswood Road., Newcastle-on-Tyne; husband of Susannah Moody, of 37, Glue Terrace, Elswick. They had five children. He was a General Labourer.
He enlisted in Hull. Served with the 2nd King’s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry. Killed in action, on 18/10/1914, aged 29.
