BORN HULL 1872. SON OF ANN & THE LATE JOHN KNEESHAW MOONEY (1838-1919). MARRIED AT HULL, IN 1896. HUSBAND OF FLORENCE ANNIE (ELLIOT) OF  63, WESTBOURNE STREET, HULL (CWGC ADDRESS). THEY HAD FIVE SONS AND TWO DAUGHTERS. LOST WHILE FISHING, ON 13/03/1919.
Built as the SCOTLAND for Hull Steam Fishing & Ice Co Ltd, Hull; Yard No 182; Launch Date: 17/03/1897; Lloyd´s Register 1918-19 No 758; In Jan 1919 sold to B. Knowles, Hull. The Hull trawler SCOTLAND (H348) sunk 15 miles SE of Flamborough Head, possibly mined.
CREW LOST ON SCOTLAND (H348), missing in North Sea, presumed struck mine, 7th March, 1919.
