They had one daughter, Marjorie Evelyn Moore, born 22 December 1915. A time expired soldier in the 2nd Leicestershire Regiment. He worked as a Marine Engine Driver. Described as 5 foot, 8 inches tall, 147 lbs weight, 41-43.5 inch chest, brown eyes, dark brown hair, Church of England religion.
Enlisted in the Hull on the 19 September 1914. Served as Sergeant in the Hull Railway Pals – the 17th Northumberland Fusiliers. Posted to France, on 28 June 1916. Received gun shot wounds to the knee and left arm. Discharged as unfit on 12 October 1916. Served for 2 years and 24 days. Awarded the Silver War Badge (N0: 40310). Died at Hull in July 1929, aged 46.
