BORN HULL 1899. SON OF WILLIAM & EMMA MORRISON, OF 10 BRAEMAR TERRACE, WALCOTT STREET, HULL. HE WAS THE YOUNGEST OF FOUR BROTHERS, AND HAD ONE SISTER. HIS FAMILY WAS WELL KNOWN IN FISHING CIRCLES ON ST ANDREWS DOCK. HE EMIGRATED TO CANADA AND ENLISTED IN CANADA AT THE AGE OF 17. HE SERVED WITH THE CANADIAN RAILWAY CORPS. HE DIED ON 17/02/1918, AGED 19. BURIED AT GRAND-SERAUCOURT BRITISH CEMETERY, AISNE, FRANCE. HIS GRAVE INSCRIPTION, READS, “IN OUR MEMORY HE IS DEAR LOVED, REMEMBERED LONGED FOR ALWAYS”.

HIS DEATH WAS REPORTED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL ON 22ND MARCH 1918, WITH HIS PHOTOGRAPH. *
