Born Patrington, 1887. Son of Henry Parrott (1846-1935) and Jane Nicholson (1849-1914), of Patrington. He had three brothers and three sisters.

A former bricklayer. He enlisted at Beverley. Served in the Royal Engineers, 69th Field Coy. Killed on the Somme, on 29/07/1916, aged 29. His army effects were left to his father, Henry. Probate Administration to Henry Parrott [father], fisherman. Effects £415 9s. 5d.

Commemorated at the Thiepval memorial to the missing. Remeberedalso on the Patrington ww1 Memorial and at St Patrick’s Church thers.
