Perkins, Richard Norman

Eldest son of Mr & Mrs Perkins, of 2 Ormond Villas, Wynburg Street, Hull.  Served as a Driver, in the Royal Field Artillery, 50th Division. Ammunition Column. Killed in action, on 30/09/1916, aged 25. His death was reported in the Hull daily Mail, on 03/11/1916. *

Before the war, he was employed as a Waggoner, at the Grange, Flinton. He enlisted two years ago and had been at the front for 18 months.

His brother, Private, Allen Perkins, 6th East Yorkshire Pioneers, was killed at Gallipoli, on 8th August 1915.
