Born Southampton, 1895. He married at Nottingham in 1915. Husband of Fanny Horton, of 107, Windmill Lane, Sleinton, Nottingham. They had one son Donald, born on 25th February 1916.
He enlisted in Hull. Served with the 20th Northumberland Fusiliers (Tyneside Scottish). died of wounds, on 20/09/1917, aged 23.
