POSTED TO FRANCE, WITH THE BRITISH EXPEDITIONARY FORCE, ON 0N 08/09/1914. KILLED ON THE MARNE, ON 20/09/1914, AGED 20. HIS DEATH AND PHOTOGRAPH WERE PRINTED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL ON THE 14TH MAY 1915. * HIS ARMY EFFECTS WERE LEFT TO HIS FATHER, WALTON QUAID.
