WIFE LILY ANN (ROBINSON) LAZENBY & THEIR FOUR CHILDREN, LIVED AT 13 LILLIES AVENUE, KENT STREET, 3 MARFLEET TERRACE, CRAVEN STREET AND 7 YORK TERRACE, BARNSLEY STREET, HULL (ARMY RECORDS ADDRESS). A FORMER OIL SEED GRINDER AND PRESSMAN.

HE ENLISTED AT HULL, ON 30/11/1914. JOINED THE 13TH EYR, HULL PALS. SERVED IN EGYPT. ARRIVED FRANCE 08/03/1916. WOUNDED IN FACE AND ABDOMEN, 10/08/1916 & REPATRIATED HOME. HE DIED OF WOUNDS AT THE HIGHLAND CASUALTY CLEARING STATION, AIRE, ON 15/08/1916, AGED 34.

HIS WIDOW LILY ANN, WAS AWARDED A WEEKLY PENSION, OF 22 SHILLINGS AND SIXPENCE, ON 24/02/1917, FOR HERSELF AND FOUR CHILDREN, MARY, ALBERT, SARAH AND JOHN. SHE LATER MOVED AGAIN TO 7 OAKLAND AVENUE, ARUNDEL STREET, HULL.
