Private Daniel Reynolds (1886-1914) of Beverley

Daniel was born in January 1886 in Beverley,

He was son of Benjamin Hudson Reynolds, and Sarah Reynolds (Nee Mennell)

In December 1905 he enlisted in the 2nd Battalion the Kings Royal Rifles, service number 6716. The 1911 census shows him in India, based in the Chakrata United Provinces

Daniel was killed in action on 2 November 1914, and he is buried at the Larchwood Cemetery (Railway Cutting) West Vlaanderen Belgium

His medals, 1914 star, British War medal, and Victory Medal were received by his brother George after his death.
