Born Pocklington, East Yorkshire, 1891. Eldest Son of Harriet and Sidney Thomas Richmond, of 22, Leonards Road, Hull (1911 census) and 89, Worthing Street, Beverley Road, Hull (War Pension address). Son of an Assurance Agent. He had two brothers. Worked as a smelter in an Iron Foundary (1911 Census).
Served in the 2nd West Yorkshire Regiment (Prince of Wales’s Own). Killed in action, on 19/12/1914, aged 23. Buried at Le Touret Military Cemetery, Richebourg- L’Avoue, France
His army effects were left to his mother Harriet. His brothers also served and survived the war.
