Rimmington, Harold Charles

Born Hull 1896. Son of William and Harriet Ellen Rimmington, of 69, Spyvee Street, Hull (War Pension address). Son of a Driller. Third of four brothers. Employed as a Plater.

He enlisted in Hull. Served in the 10th Northumberland Fusiliers. Killed in action, on 18/07/1916. His army effects were left to his father, William. He is commemorated on the Thiepval memorial, France.

Note: his surname is sometimes spelt Remmington, in CWGC records.
