HE WAS UNMARRIED AND HAD NO CHILDREN. HE LIVED IN HULL AT 34 DANSOM LANE, HULL (ARMY ADDRESS).

HE ENLISTED IN THE HULL PALS, ON 16/11/1914. TRAINED AT POCKLINGTON AND RIPON. SERVED IN EGYPT. ARRIVED FRANCE 08/3/1916. KILLED IN ACTION, AT SERRE, ON 13/11/1916, AGED 22. HIS ARMY EFFECTS WERE LEFT TO HIS STEP MOTHER, ADA MARY. HIS BROTHERJOSEPH EMMANUEL ROBBIE SERVED WITH THE AUSTRALIAN IMPERIAL FORCE.
