Robinson, Claude Lambert

Born Barnoldswick, Yorkshire, 31/03/1886. Son of John Tebay Robinson and Melina Henrietta Robinson, of Old Crown Iron, Northgate, Wakefield (1911 Census). Son of a Pub landlord.

Living in Hull when war began. He enlisted in Hull. Served as Sergeant, in the 2nd Yorkshire Hussars (Alexandra, Princes of Wales’ Own). Killed in action, on 15/10/1916, aged 30. Commemorated on The Thiepval Memorial.
