BORN OSLO, NORWAY, 1874. SON OF OTTO ROJAHN. HUSBAND OF KATE ROJAHN, AT  155 WALKER STREET, HULL. (HULL MERCHANT NAVY ADDRESS). COMMEMORATED ON THE TOWER HILL NAVAL MEMORIAL, LONDON, UK.. HIS BROTHER, PRIVATE, JOHN ROJAHN, 12TH EYR WAS KILLED ON 13/11/1916, AGED 44.

On October 20th, 1917, the British steamer SS Colorado, on a voyage from Hull to Alexandria with a cargo of coal & coke, was sunk by the German submarine UB-31 (Thomas Bieber), 1.5 miles east of Start Point. 4 persons were killed. Allen Tony 21/08/2007 Colorado was a 7,165grt, defensively-armed British Merchant Ship.
