He may be related to Thomas Sadler on the memorial or could be Lance Corporal, Albert Sadler (1892-1960), EYR and “D” Company, 6th York & Lancs regiment, who enlisted on 7/12/1915 and was discharged on 3/5/1919 with gunshot wounds to right forearm and left eye. He lived at 4, Myrtle Grove, Fleet Street, Hull (war Pension address). He however survived the war and died in Hull in 1960 and did not have a Bernard Sadler in his family according to Census records.
