BORN HULL 1893. SON OF HENRY SAY (1853-1905) JANE JENNESON (1858-1942), OF  4, CARLTON TERRACE, SEATON STREET, HULL (1911 CENSUS ADDRESS) AND 47, HESSLE ROAD, HULL (WAR PENSION ADDRESS). HE HAD THREE BROTHERS AND THREE SISTERS. HE WORKED AS A PAPER BOX MAKER.

HE ENLISTED IN HULL. SERVED AS A DRIVER, IN THE ROYAL FIELD ARTILLERY. DIED OF WOUNDS, ON 09/11/1917, AGED 23. HE IS BURIED IN BELGIUM.

HIS ARMY EFFECTS WERE LEFT TO HIS MOTHER JANE, AND SISTER, MRS EVA SCHOENFILED.
