St. Ives, built by Cook, Welton & Gemmell, Ltd., Beverley in 1909 and operated at the time of her loss by Royal Navy, was a British navy trawler of 325 tons. On December 21st, 1916, St. Ives was sunk by a mine from the German submarine UC-17 (Ralph Wenninger), off St. Anthony Point, Falmouth. 11 persons were lost.
