Seston, Ernest

Born Kiverton Park, Yorkshire, 1895. Son of George and Emma Seston, of No. 2 Bungalow, Ravensfield Common, Rotherham. Native of Kiveton Park, Sheffield. Resided Rotherham. Also served at Suvla Bay. Bullet wound to ther ight chest. Died of wounds, with the 10th Sherwood Forester, on 02/11/1916, aged 21.

He is listed on the Hull Gardener’s Society War Memorial, at Hull Minster. He is buried on the Somme. His grave inscription, reads, “A DAY OF REMEMBRANCE SAD TO RECALL.”
