Shipham, Edward

Born West Hampstead, London, 1892. Son of Thornton Edward Shipham and Rebecca Shipham, of 202, Alliance Avenue, Hull (war pension address). Son of a domestic coachman. He had one brother, John and five sisters. He Worked as a draper.

He enlisted in London. Served in the 5th (City of London) Battalion (London Rifle Brigade). Died of wounds, as a Prisoner of War, on 08/07/1916, aged 24. Buried in France.

His army effects were left to his father, Thornton.
