Royal Fusiliers. Served as Private, 229074, 1st (City of London) Battalion (Royal Fusiliers). Killed in action, on 19/09/1918, aged 32. His army effects were left to his mother, Hannah. He is commemorated on the Brandesburton WW1 Memorial which contains seven names.
He is buried at Flesquieres, Departement du Nord, Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France.
