Eddie Piercy [mailto:eddie@c4c2.karoo.co.uk] writes on 28 May 2017 – Hi, Herbert Skelton was the half brother of my late mother Lilian May Piercy nee McGuire, she often talked about Herbie as she called him and her brother Peter Mcguire who both served in the army during the great war, Peter was gassed and died young during the 1930.s. I have done some research into my Grandmother Phoebe Porter/Skelton/McGuire/Williams though its a bit sketchy she seems to have Married a Herbert Skelton under her maiden name of Porter and the later married my Grandfather Thomas McGuire again under the name of Porter, I have been unable to discover what happened to Herbert. Have you any information. Regards. Eddie
