Enlisted 7 Sept 1915, Served in the Royal Engineers. Discharged 11 Oct 1918. Awarded the Silver War Badge (No: B28359). He died at Hull, on 3 May 1925, aged 34.
His brother, Herbert Samuel Squires, 14167, Machine Gun Corps was killed in action, on 18 Feb 1917
