HIS WIFE, LOUISA & 3 DAUGHTERS, LIVED AT 7205 DUFF STREET, SOUTH VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA. HE HAD MIGRATED TO CANADA ( 7205, Duff St., South Vancouver, British Columbia), AGED 22 YEARS.

HE ENLISTED IN THE CANADIAN EXPEDITIONARY FORCE. SERVED IN THE 16TH MANITOBA REGIMENT. AWARDED THE MILITARY MEDAL FOR BRAVERY. KILLED IN ACTION, ON 08/08/1918, AGED 31. HE IS BURIED ON THE SOMME, AT DEMUIN BRITISH CEMETERY.
