He enlisted in Hull. Served with the 1/6th Northumberland Fusiliers. Killed in action, on 27/10/1917. Commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial, Belgium.
his army effects were left to his mother Alice. His war pension went to his father, Albert Taylor, at 11, South Terrace, Church Street, Eastwood, Nottingham.
