Born Somerset, Taunton, 1877. Son of Henry and Selina Thomas, of Taunton, Somerset, England.
Married at Brighton St Peter, Sussex, on 3/11/1907. Husband of Edith Dunhill Denton Thomas (born 1/2/1865), of 8, Waverley Avenue, Massey Street, Hull (War Pension address). He had a step Daughter, Gertrude Vera Wiles, born on 27/9/1903. He was a Professional Vocalist, living at 3, Kent Villas, Southwood Road, Rusthall, Tunbridge Wells, Kent (1911 Census).
He enlisted at Lincoln. Served with the 2/7th Highland Light Infantry. Transferred to the Labour Corps. Died of Nephites, aggravated by active service, at the Curragh Military Hospital, Ireland, on 07/11/1917, aged 39.
His army effects were left to his widow. he also left Edith £100 in his will and she moved to 4, Lings Cottage, Roman Bank, Skegness (Probate address).
