Born Hull 1895. Son of Thomas Tindle (1865-1927) and Mary jane Legge (1861-1901), of 7, Londesborough Street, Hull. he had four sisters and one brother.
Enlisted at Hull. Served in the 6th East Yorkshire Regiment. Survived the Dardenelles. Posted to the Western Front. Died of wounds, on 21/08/1917, aged 22. Buried at Belgium.
