BORN HESSLE, 1899. SON OF CHARLES SEATON TUNE & MARTHA ANNIE EVISON, ABOVE, HESSLE. SON OF A BRICK MANUFACTURER. HE HAD THREE BROTHERS AND ONE SISTER. HIS OLDER BROTHER CHARLES WAS KILLED IN ACTION ON 23/11/17 AGED 22 YEARS. HARRY WAS EDUCATED AT HULL TECHNICAL COLLEGE. ENLISTED 17/08/1915. POSTED TO FRANCE FROM 20/03/1916. SERVED WITH THE 261 RAILWAY CONSTRUCTION COMPANY. DIED FROM INJURIES AT PROVEN FROM A RAILWAY ACCIDENT ON THE SAME DAY. HE WAS 19 YEARS OLD AND UNMARRIED.

HIS NAME IS LISTED ON THE RAMC ROLL OF HONOUR, AT WENLOCK BARRACKS, HULL AND ON THE HESSLE, ROLL OF HONOUR, ALL SAINTS PARISH CHURCH.

HE IS ALSO LISTED ON THE HULL TECHINICAL COLLEGE WW1 MEMORIAL PLAQUE, PARK STREET, HULL, WITH HIS BROTHER, 2ND LIEUTENANT, CHARLES WALTER TUNE, 13TH EYR, KILLED IN ACTION, ON 23/11/1917, AGED 22.
