Born Newland, Hull 1889. Son of John and Hannah Waters, of Goole. Brother of Miss Sarah Ann Waters of 24, Mason Street, Goole (War pension address). He had one brother, Ruben and six sisters. Worked in the Goole Flour Mills.
Enlisted at Goole. Served with the 9th King’s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry. Killed in action, on 18/09/1918, aged 29.
