Formerly, Private, 204752 EYR. he transferred to the 7th Lincolnshire Regiment. Died of wounds, 03/06/1918, aged 35.
His name is recorded in Hull’s Holy Trinity memorial book.
BURIED AT AUCHONVILLERS MILITARY CEMETERY, SOMME, FRANCE. HIS GRAVE INSCRIPTION, READS, “HE DIED THAT WE MIGHT LIVE FROM HIS LOVING WIFE AND CHILDREN”
