Born Patrington, 1898. Son of Charles Wilkins (1870-1943) and Annie Jane Wilkinson (1869-1955), of 2, Villa Terrace, Grange Street, Hull (war Pension address). He had one brother.
He enlisted in Hull. Served as 241912, 1/5th Border Regiment was killed on 01/10/1916, aged 23 and is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial, France.
His brother Herbert Wilkins, formerly 4173, East Yorkshire Regiment. Transferred to the 1/5th Border Regiment. Killed in action, on 23/04/1917, aged 19.
