Scarborough Mercury 27/02/ 1920 – FAMILY’S TRAGIC LOSSES. – In the middle of so many bereavements the loss of one family, the Williamson’s, stands out as particularly tragic. One brother of H. C. Williamson, lost on the STRATHORD, was killed in action while a very young brother was the victim of a tragic accident on the face of the Castle Hill on Sunday evening of last summer when playing with other boys. He fell a great distance and died later at the hospital. A fourth son of Mr. and Mrs. Williamson is critically ill in the Sanatorium. The bereaved father was on board the drifter TRYPHENA, on which vessel, is understood, the explosion was heard. Members of the families of the crew were on the piers most of the night anxiously hoping for news.
