BORN SWANLAND 1878. SON OF MARGARET HANNAH PARKER (1845-1929) & LATE JAMES WILSON (1841-1913), OF 115, GRAFTON STREET, HULL. SON OF A PROVISION’S DEALER. HE HAD SEVEN BROTHERS AND FOUR SISTERS. EDUCATED  HULL GRAMMAR SCHOOL.

HIS WIFE, MARY ANN (BORN 1/10/1880) & TWO DAUGHTERS, MABEL AND KATHLEEN, LIVED AT 60, PARK ROAD, HULL (CWGC ADDRESS), 23, CARRINGTON STREET, HULL (HULL DAILY MAIL ADDRESS) & 53, CAVE STREET, BEVERLEY ROAD, HULL (WAR PENSION ADDRESS).

HE SERVED AS GUNNER, 204590, ROYAL FIELD ARTILLERY. KILLED IN ACTION, ON 204590, AGED 39. HIS DEATH WAS REPORTED IN THE HDM, ON 07/11/1917.

HE IS BURIED ON THE SOMME, AT ROISEL COMMUNAL CEMETERY EXTENSION, SOMME, FRANCE.

HE IS COMMEMORATED ON THE HULL GRAMMAR SCHOOL MEMORIAL.

HIS BROTHER, BOMBARDIER, HERBERT PARKER WILSON, RGA, DIED OF WOUNDS, ON 08/07/1916, AGED 26. ANOTHER BROTHER, CHARLES WILSON, DIED IN 1919, OF WOUNDS, AGED 33.
