Married at Hull in 1916. Husband of Muriel Norris at 14, Lilian Terrace, Barnsley Street, Hull (War Pension address).
Enlisted 9 Dec 1915. Served in the 1/4th East Yorkshire Regiment. Discharged on 28 May 1919. Awarded the Silver War Badge (no: B304832). Died of Bronchitis, on 15 Han 1928, aged 39
