Wilson, Harold

Born Hull 1895. Son of Albert and Elizabeth Wilson, of 48 Raywell street, Hull (War Pension Address). Described as 5 foot, 5 inches tall, 124 lbs weight, 35 inch chest, blue eyes, brown hair. A general labourer. He enlisted in the Hull Pals, on 14/09/1914. Served in Egypt and France, with the 12th East Yorkshire Regiment. Wounded in the left leg and right foot in April 1918. Died of wounds on 11/04/1918. His army effects were returned to his mother. They included a pipe, tobacco pouch, photo and two unopened letters.

Unmarried. He had one brother, Fred Wilson, 203515, who was also killed in the war, aged 20, and one sister, Ada. There is no CWGC record of his death.
