Many thanks to Alec Worrell, for the information on his Great Grandfather on 31/08/2015. “My hobby is genealogy and my special interest has been WGW and his trawler H903. The rest of the crew were taken aboard a German sub, but as they went down the conning tower an explosion was heard and WGW was still on board. The rest of the crew were repatriated to Hull.”
