BORN ST JOHNS, HULL 20/03/1884. SON OF ALFRED WOYEN (1862-1919) & MARY WOYEN. A PROFESSIONAL SOLDIER. ENLISTED IN HULL. A DRILL INSTRUCTOR, IN THE 2ND COLDSTREAM GUARDS. HE RESIDED IN WINDSOR. HE WAS KILLED IN ACTION, AT ST JEAN, ON 30/03/1916, AGED 32. HIS ARMY EFFECTS WERE LEFT TO HIS WIDOW, ANNIE MARIE KINSON.

HE IS BURIED AT WHITE HOUSE CEMETERY, ST. JEAN-LES-YPRES, WEST-VLAANDEREN, BELGIUM.
HIS BROTHER, PRIVATE, CHRISTIAN RUBEN WOYEN, 12/724, 12TH EAST YORKSHIRE REGIMENT, WAS KILLED IN ACTION, ON 25/09/1916.
