Wrigglesworth, Charles Leonard

Born Hull 1888. Son of Charles Edmund Wrigglesworth (1856-1917) and Mary Jane Grace (1858-1937), of 8, Sunny Bank, Hull (Army address) and 369, Spring Bank West, Hull (war Pension address). Son of a Law Clerk. He had three brothers and two sisters. Employed as a Merchant’s Clerk. Described as 5 foot, 6 inches tall, 32-34 inch chest, 124 lbs weight, Roman Catholic religion.

Enlisted 08/12/1915. Called up on 13/04/1916. Appointed Company Quarter Master Sergeant, on 04/12/1916. Posted to France on 23/05/1917. Served in the Durham Light Infantry Depot.

Discharged with Tuberculosis, to Reckitt’s Hospital, Hull, on 07/12/1917. Served for 1 year and 240 days. Died in Sanitorium, on 16/03/1919, aged 31.
