Thames SS was a British Steam Coaster of 403 tons built in 1910 by Goole SB. & Repg. Co., Ltd., Goole for Dale Coasters, Ltd. (Lythgoe, Amundsen & Co.), Hull (Newcastle). She was listed as missing on the 14th August 1917 when carrying a cargo of pig iron from Middleborough to Fecamp. She was sunk by german submarine UC-63 by gunfire and lost with all 10 hands.
