His army effects were left to Selina Warrington, at 3, Richards Terrace, Harrow Street, Hull (War Pension address).

Born Lowton, Lancs, 1900. Son of William Ellis Hill and Jessie Robinson Hill, of 466, Newton Rd., Lowton. Newton-le-Willows, Warrington, Lancs. Enlisted Warrington. "F" Company, 4th Lancashire Fusilier. He died at Hull Royal Infirmary, of spinal meningitis, on 19/03/1915, aged 15. Buried Hull Western cemetery.
